What to Bring with You on the Day of the Test

Teens under 18 years old must bring the following on the day of your road test:

  • Level One Learners Permit (must be issued for at least 6 months).
  • Segment 2 Certificate of Completion.
  • Driving log with at least 50 hours of documented driving.
  • Up to date proof of insurance for the vehicle you will be driving.
  • Up to date registration for the vehicle you will be driving.
  • A parent or legal guardian must accompany you during the road test.

Adults 18 years of age and older with a Temporary Instruction Permit must bring the following on the day of the test:

  • Temporary Instruction Permit (must be issued for at least 1 month unless waived).
  • Up to date registration for the vehicle you will be driving.
  • Up to date proof of insurance for the vehicle you will be driving.
  • You must be accompanied to the road test site by a licensed adult. However, only the examiner and the person taking the road test are allowed in the vehicle during the test.
